India vs. Sri Lanka 5th ODI Tri Series Highlights

Watch Tri-series: India vs Sri Lanka 5th Match Highlights, Live Cricket Score here. The Fifth one-day international between India and Sri Lanka in the tri-series is scheduled on the 10th January 2010. The Sri Lankans have won all three matches so far in the series and they have comfortably qualified to the finals of the tri-series, and for the Indians they need to win this game to avoid matching of run rates with Bangladesh, which might put them strangely in a nervous situation.

The Sri Lankans mauled the Bangladesh team in their previous match and won by nine wickets. The opening batsmen Upul Tharanga and Mahela Jayawardene made centuries to reach the target of 249 posed by Bangladesh.

Sri Lankan batting has been good so far, and all of its batsmen having been starring in each of the matches played so far and undoubtedly their star batsmen Tilakaratne Dilshan becomes the most valuable player of their side.

The Indians won the previous match against Bangladesh by 6 wickets. Captain MS Dhoni and Virat Kohli’s batting partnership cruised the Indians to a comfortable victory.

But Indian bowling and fielding department has been a major let down in the tri-series and even the opening batsmen are unable to stick to the crease to provide a platform for the remaining batsmen, which is a matter of concern for the Indian side. The Sri Lankans look to be in superb form and there is seemingly another win for them on the cards.
