Final match of Idea Cup tri-series will be played between India and Sri Lanka after host Bangladesh was out of the tournament on Wednesday, 13th January, 2010 at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Mirpur in a say-night game starting from 15:30 local, 08:30 GMT, 14:00 IST.




India won their last 3 matches comfortably and they are looking favorite to win the final as they also beat Sri Lanka in the home ODI series. Virat Kohli is in grate form and he is the highest scorer so far in the tournament and the return of Sehwag and Zaheer Khan will boost their chances.

Sri Lanka will try to take revenge of defeat in ODI series but they are lacking in the middle order. Dilshan will be back after rested in the last match and Jayawardhane who hit a century as opener against Bangladesh will strengthen the middle order.
